Digital Cameras are camera that shoot pictures, photos and record videos, digitally by recording images on a light- sensitized sensor. It can be classified into several categories such as video cameras, compact digital cameras bridge cameras and soon. The first commercially available digital camera was the 1990 Dycam Model 1. It used a 3D image sensor, stored pictures digitally and connected directly to a PC for downloading. The digital cameras have high power requirements. Over the time, they become increasingly smaller in size, so smaller batteries are needed to fit in the camera.
