Melbourne is the second most popular city in Australia. It is located around the Port Philip Bay in Australia's south-east which is also known as The CBD. Melbourne has a moderate oceanic climate. The city has a population of 3.8 million people. It is famous for major centres of commerce,industry and cultural activity. In addition it was the host city of the 1956 Summer Olympics and the 2006 Commonwealth Games.The city was originally inhabited by the Wurundjeri, people of the Kulin nation.
